Our Celebrations for King Charles III

At Hollyman Care Homes, we believe in creating a vibrant and engaging community for our residents, and what better way to do so than by celebrating important events together. With the coronation of King Charles III, we wanted to make the occasion special for our residents by organising a series of events that everyone could participate in.

At Broadland House, our team members pulled out all the stops to create an authentic royal atmosphere. Our lounge area was adorned with bunting, Union Jack flags, and photographs of our new king. We served tea, scones, and cakes on beautifully decorated tables, while residents chatted and reminisced about The Royal Family.

One of the highlights of our celebrations was the stunning Union Jack cake, made by Dan & Sue at Braydeston Court. The cake was a masterpiece in its own right, with the intricate details of the flag crafted with fruit and icing. Our residents were thrilled to see such a beautiful creation and enjoyed every bite.

The staff and residents at our other care homes also joined in the celebrations, with special menus, decorations, and activities planned throughout the day. It was heartening to see everyone come together to celebrate this historic event.

At Hollyman Care Homes, we believe that these moments of shared joy are what makes our community special. It is heartwarming to see our residents come together to celebrate life’s big moments, and we’re honoured to be a part of their journey.
